Wilmington CUSD Curriculum

The academic accomplishments and impressive feats of teaching and learning within the Wilmington School District across all grade levels never cease to amaze. This community, throughout the years, has produced many outstanding athletes, committed coaches, and very successful athletic programs, which has produced numerous statewide accolades. We are very proud of these accomplishments; however, we must always remember that our district’s core mission is grounded in the comprehensive education of its children. A tremendous amount of hard work and intense effort takes place on a daily basis by the talented students and dedicated teachers of the Wilmington School District. The Wilmington School District, along with virtually every other district throughout the state, has undoubtedly been experiencing the financial pressures of the current economy, along with the shifting demands associated with the new common core learning standards and the new, statewide PARRC annual assessment. However, even in the face of these challenges, the ongoing commitment to our core mission of School and Community United for Excellence in Education – a sincere devotion to providing the best possible educational experiences for each and every child of Wilmington – continues to consistently produce success in the classroom.

Please direct any questions, ideas, and suggestions related to teaching and learning within the Wilmington School District to the appropriate building principal or the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Kevin Feeney.
