Foundation for Excellence
Education can be an expensive endeavor, even at a public school. The Wilmington Foundation for Excellence helps to fill the monetary needs brought about by the changing financial picture of all school districts in Illinois.
Budget cuts and the changing educational landscape can sometimes prevent teachers from being able to supply the resources and materials they want and need to teach a particular skill or lesson. Our foundation enables them to apply for funds to purchase materials not provided for by the district. The foundation truly helps our educators make their classroom a place where learning comes alive.
Our Mission
The Wilmington School District No. 209-U Foundation is committed to provide funds to enrich the experiences and opportunities necessary to maximize the academic school-to-work and social growth of students, faculty, and administration.
